What is concrete?
Concrete is a mixture of cement, water, separated stone aggregate and additives which by mixing give fresh concrete ready for installation. It can be cast in a variety of shapes, is durable and is the most attractive building material in terms of compressive strength fundamental to sustainable construction.
What type of concrete do we produce?
We produce concretes of different compressive strength classes and exposure classes by combining appropriate proportions of different concrete ingredients (waterproof, resistant to wear, freezing and defrosting salts…).
What is cement hydration?
Hydration of cement is a chemical reaction of cement and water which starts the hardening of concrete.
What is the unit of measurement for the amount of concrete?
Concrete is expressed in cubic meters (m3), and its average mass is approximately 2.4 t/m3.
How much time do I have to install?
Under normal conditions, concrete can be installed in about 90 minutes. In summer, it loses workability faster, and then we use an additive to extend its workability.
Why is it important to nurture concrete?
Basic care involves preventing the concrete from drying out (wetting, covering with foil or curing). With proper care, we prevent the negative impact of weathering on concrete and enable the achievement of the declared properties of the same.
